    The subjects were chosen by cross-reference of a comprehensive list of patients treated with any form of radiation therapy at the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiation Oncology, by using an electronic record search of the master list of diagnoses of all patients seen at Mayo Clinic for SLE and associated diagnoses during that time. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Giving hydroxychloroquine together with temozolomide and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells.     Anyone with RA taking Enbrel, Plaquenil & Arava I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am scheduled for surgery on Nov. 19th. My doctor will be doing a DS in two stages because he is concerned about my body healing after a complete DS. Of course I will need to be off the drugs for 30 before and after surgery, but the surgeon is still concerned about the drugs and my bodies ability to heal.
